Job Description
Expected Work details.
• Lead preparation of tender, proposal bids, and negotiation with Client.
• Initiator of proposal for bidding based on critical observations involving technical and commercial risks at preliminary consideration stage.
• To keep updated market knowledge of existing and potentials Client and ensuring business growth opportunities aligned to company’s strategic plans.
• Clarification of bid conditions and management of the tender preparation. Reviews and finalizes project cost estimates as prepared by the Estimation Engineer in terms of the required material as per bill of quantities (BOQ), amount of work, material/ equipment/ and manpower requirements during the tendering phase; this includes all systems, products, and services to client as per specifications/ requirements.
• Attending Negotiation Meetings, preparation of justification of quoted rates, if any required by Client before award of work.
• Enquire, consult, and coordinate with client & consultant’s representatives for specification/ technical and commercial clarifications required for tender proposals and attend pre-tender meetings.
• Study, examine and evaluate tender documents from a technical point of view to identify risk factors, ensuring that technical terms comply with the relevant standards and coordinate with the Division Heads and other concerned persons.
• Manage all project documentation required throughout the project lifecycle.
• Should be ready to travel for project kick-start activity and lead the project for initial 3 months of project awarding.
• Extend support for on-going project developments as and when required. Ensure that the assigned projects are executed per the approved PMP's with respect to man-hours, cost, and quality, scope of work and time schedule - You will be tasked with identifying areas of concern with respect to progress of assigned projects and recommending the corrective action wherever required.
• Assure provision of full project controls such as planning/scheduling, estimation, cost control services for the assigned projects
Desired Candidate Profile
• Degree in business or any other field related to the position.
• 10+ years of experience in a similar position. Experience in handling multibillion projects.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills
• Ability to coordinate several tasks at the same time.
• Well-developed negotiation skills
• Ready to relocate to Kuwait and other project sites.
Joining : Immediate joining preferred.
Salary: Depending on the experience and best as per the Industry standards
