Col Navneet MP Mittal (Retd)
Founder & Chairman
With over four decades of unwavering dedication to national service and global humanitarian causes, Colonel Navneet M.P. Mittal stands at the helm of Horizon Group as its Co-Founder and Chairman who initiated the concept of Humanitarian Demining in India. A retired Indian Army officer, he brings to the organization a unique blend of operational expertise, leadership acumen and project management experience from the military, corporate and NGO sectors. He is also Co-Founder and Director General of India International Forum of Mine Action and Safety (IIFOMAS).
Col Navneet MP Mittal, is an alumnus of the prestigious National Defence Academy and his qualifications include Bachelor of Science (BSc), Bachelor of Technology (B Tech) from College of Military Engineering, Pune, Master of Science (MSc) in Defence Studies from Defence Services Staff College, Wellington and Masters in Management Studies (MMS) from College of Defence Management, Secunderabad. He has been an Instructor in Indian Military Academy, Dehradun and at College of Military Engineering, Pune.
He has been awarded for distinguished service on four occasions while serving in the Indian Army and has held senior level positions in operations, HR, logistics, training as well as major construction activities.
His international experience includes Chief Humanitarian Officer with United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon. As Director Operations and now as Chairman of Horizon Group, he has planned and overseen Landmine and Explosive Ordnance clearance programs in Sri Lanka, Jordan, Azerbaijan and Kuwait.
He has successfully helped conceive and operate number of NGOs and business enterprises including a green energy initiative. A sports enthusiast, he has led a number of adventure expeditions and been part of competitions at national and international level. He has also authored number of articles.

Mr. Nadeem Saleem
With a Masters degree in human resources & management, Mr. Nadeem Saleem has a rich professional experience of 18 years in the field of human resource management. During these years, he has worked and helped companies recruit for short term and long term projects in Kuwait, thus helping them successfully achieve project goals on time.
In the past 18 years, Mr Nadeem has recruited an overall manpower of around 12000 people across the world, including India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, USA, Canada, Tunisia, Cambodia, Pakistan, Saudi, Egypt, Singapore, Malaysia, Serra Leon, Mozambique, Zimbabwe and South Africa.

Ms. Eishna Mittal
Coming from an enriching army upbringing, Ms. Eishna is currently working as the Director of Finance & Business Development at Horizon. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management (IT) and has since received a certification in Project Planning and Management. She began her career as the Manager & Director at EFS Sun Cargo Private Limited and since taken on various key management roles in multiple companies including the likes of Horizon Assignments (India) Private Limited and Arnima Ventures LLP.
She carries a rich experience of working in diverse critical departments including Logistics and Freight Forwarding, Humanitarian & Commercial Mine Action, Solar & LED Lights Manufacturing, C-IED training equipment manufacturing. She has also significantly contributed towards various Philanthropic and charitable NGO projects and is also the founder of Human Library Pune which is under the aegis of Human Library Organization, Copenhagen. Currently, she holds the position of a Trustee at the Global Harmony Trust.

Mrs Armina Mittal
Mrs Arnima Mittal is the Founder & Director of Establishment at the Horizon Group. With a rich educational background consisting of the degrees of M.Sc. & B.Ed., she is still continuing to enrich her learning journey by pursuing a Doctorate in Chemistry. With a collective work experience of 25 years, she is a talented writer and journalist and is also very proactive in social services.

Maj Gen Ajay Seth, VSM (Retd)
Maj Gen Ajay Seth, VSM (Retd), Chairman of IIFOMAS Board, is a decorated Indian Army veteran with nearly four decades of distinguished service. Commissioned into the Garhwal Rifles, he has held key operational and strategic leadership roles, including Division Commander in Sikkim and Additional Director General – International Cooperation at Army Headquarters. A recipient of the Vishisht Seva Medal, he brings visionary leadership to global mine action and humanitarian safety initiatives.

Captain Upendra Agarwal is a seasoned professional with a strong background in operations, logistics, and project management. At HSWF, he contributes to the planning and execution of field initiatives, ensuring efficiency and compliance with international safety standards. His practical experience and commitment to humanitarian service strengthen the organization’s on-ground impact.

Mr. Amitt Chaudhry
Amitt Chaudhry is a business development leader with over 25 years of international experience in corporate training, strategic partnerships, and consultative B2B engagement. As Vice President – Business Development at Horizon Assignments and HSWF, he drives global collaborations and humanitarian initiatives. His career includes senior roles with Centum Learning, Arc Skills (GEMS Education), Yeshshree Group, and ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, where he also served as Training Head for the Western region.
